Tree sap on a tennis court...

Is there anyway to clean tree sap off of a tennis court without using a pressure washer?

The condos whos roof we cleaned recently wants us to clean their tennis courts, but are worried that the paint is old and afraid that the pressure washer will take off the paint. I dont think it can be cleaned with a PW, but I dont know. We offered a demonstration in an inconspicuous area, but they declined.

Any advice??

Scott,
I have never done any tennis courts nor have I done asphalt but possibly best way to do this maybe be to call a distributor and find out what chems may break the sap free without damage to the asphalt and then rinse with a water hose? maybe even try hot water (in a bucket) and a brush? Wish you luck man...

Used TSP on it? Also, tell them if they "KNOW" the paint is "OLD" Then pay to re-paint it. No brainer...?
