Largest job in 12 years!

I'm not sure where to post this. I'd say it will be a challenge for us.
A local nursing facility wants a PW then repaint of all their wood. Lot's of dirty siding, wood and some mold. I will estimate the project this week and see what hits the fan. The Maint. Manager stated the last crew did a half aXX job. We don't intend on having him say that about us. I haven't measured yet, only photos. I will use my pacer program to complete the estimate. I will keep up to date on the estimate as possible. Any suggestions or ideas will be appreciated. This will be our largest commercial project in 12 years. Thank you.

The Maint. Mgr. said he called a couple others and they were over whelmed? Why?

Go get it Terry!!!

Too many windows for me...lol. They are probably overwhelmed with the variables. Windows, Canopies, Brick, Wood, Siding, Concrete....dang you can call yourself a do it all company now...

This will pay for everyone to come to Florida...haha. And the cigars.

Actually a large job is just a lot of small jobs. With my Estimating program, PDCA's Pacer, I will break down the units and multiply the units. This makes for a much easier job and more accurate. We did a 65,000 sq ft. job 11 years ago and I estimated each piece. It took me about a week to figure it out. We still made $, but not what we should have. When we do decks, large home or many different items, breaking it into smaller pieces usually solves the problem of taking too much time to estimate. I have been slammed with estimates, from 5-8 per day. This takes a lot of time and I hope to spend sometime this weekend getting my #'s together for this one. I will say right now, don't ask the price. If I said $500. or $50,000 someone would call me an idiot! LOL It happens every time. Everyone believes they are the worlds greatest estimator. Rob, Carlos, you will know by the cigars I am smoking the next time we meet! LOL Thank you.
