Hiya Mike,

Government bids usually have very stringent standards. The first thing you should do is get yourself a DUNS number if you don't already have one. Gov bids require you to have your ducks lined up with reclaim equipment, efficiency, employees and knowing your numbers. You have to know your numbers because you could be bidding concrete as low as a penny and a half for concrete work and that is with proper reclaim equipment.

Members of the UAMCC get the opportunity for large scale RFP's (request for proposal) sent to them free of charge as part of membership benefits. I don't want to mislead you. Your inbox will not be overflowing with leads but some good ones come through if you are near a major metropolitan area.
