Restoration project

wow, nice work. what did you use?

Everything but dynamite.

The guys at Eaco Chem where very helpful. At first they assured me that NMD80 at a ratio of 4 to 1 would do the trick. Didn't faze the dimensional deposits. Many areas had deposits that were almost 1/8 " thick. Built-up over almost 40 years. So then we tried different combination's of NMD 80, HD Britenol and GS Restoration, all at different ratios.

High pressure was not an option since the grout in between the brick was a sandstone mixture, very fragile.

58 man hours later, mission accomplished.

This mansion is at the bottom of Camelback mountain. 3.5 acres. The owner, who has been a general contractor his entire career, built the house himself (well as the general contractor) in 1971. It is an exact replica of a 100 year old Pennsylvania farm house. Every pane of glass in this 10,000 square foot house (and guest house) comes from a 100+ year old Pennsylvania farm house.

Very nice and generous customer. But I must emphasize once again big props to Lynn and Mike over at Eaco Chem for their professional advise and assistance.
