If it is in an area that inside a patio, and the ceiling is drywall or some other type of textured wall board, but the wall where the dobbers are, are stucco, brick, siding etc, I use a 5 in 1 painters tool, scrape it off, and then use a hand held sprayer to clean.

We have found that some contain a mineral deposit or rust that may be left behind and an acidic cleaner will sometimes be the answer. On stucco we generally use some 5-1 Muriatic, apply with a bottle, let dwell about 1 minute and rinse thoroughly.

We've had luck using f13 on the stains when cleaning drivit.

Saturday we are cleaning dirt dobber nests on an office building that are about five stories in the air. I'm so excited I can hardly wait...
