UAMCC 2009 Seminars/Roundtables

After much discussion among the Transition Team it was unamiously voted on that the UAMCC will not host any Round Tables/Seminars during the 2009 season.

The answer(s) to 'why' and 'how come' are pretty simple. It is our conviction that much time and focus will be necessary to address the normal "bumps" in the road one could expect after launching a national association. Our first priority is to work out the kinks that will arise both from a member and infrastructure standpoint!

However,

We are looking at a years end function for the UAMCC. More information for this will be forthcoming!

The UAMCC will be participating in some of the round tables that have already been scheduled by others from the industry. We will be attending a fix number of RT's after our launch.

Please look for a different thread for the details on this.

Again, we will not be hosting any UAMCC RT's during the 2009 season but will be attending some as invited guests!

Stay tuned!!

Great idea Carlos & team. Having control and a working program, getting the bumps out will really make the UAMCC grow better? Everyone here should support your decisions. The thought, time an effort are beyond our dreams. There are many RT, etc. functions planned this year for those who want to attend. Again men good work. Thank you.

I agree completely with that decision Carlos. Roundtables would have been too much right now. I'm glad that you guys will be able to focus on startup. However- we hope we get the chance to meet some of the team members at other roundtables.
