Ive got a wash coming up on a house with awnings. They are a canvas material. Wondering if SH will cause bleaching damage. Any advice or tips would be appreciated.

ALWAYS do a test spot on anything cloth. Find the most inconspicuous spot.
The ones I do throughout the year are always ok with a house wash strength bleach. But, I still do test spots on the ones that I have already done before,..Ha,Ha. Cloth materials make me nervous.

Looks like those awnings are on the south side of the house (facing water ?) Try to wash on a cloudy day or even light rain make sure you wet them good , maybe even have a helper with hose , trick is don't let your mix dry on them , you'll be alright .nice website .

I pre wet them and the mix didnt hurt them a bit. I did make it a point to rinse them well quickly after applying the mix. The house wasnt very dirty at all so my mix wasnt very strong either....thanks for the tips guys.....always something new to learn
