Received this the other day. Thought it would be good to put this out on the BBS.

Dear Carlos:

On behalf of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services, I would like to thank you, Robert Hinderliter and the rest of the UAMCC Transition Team for your work in planning and delivering the April 30th workshop held in Charlotte, NC for mobile contract cleaners. Our experience in working with you and your team was very positive and professional. Furthermore, UAMCC’s input in developing the best management practices for containment and disposal of wash waters generated during mobile contract cleaning was very helpful. All of our hard work and collaboration led to what we felt was a very successful workshop overall.

As we discussed, one workshop was not adequate to fully address all of the issues and to receive input from all interested parties. We look forward to an ongoing relationship with the UAMCC as we work together to further develop our policies and guidelines.

Best Regards,

Craig Miller

Hats off to everyone that had a hand in this...way cool guys/gals!!

We are not done with the City of Charlotte....we have some follow-up workshops to go after and ensure we keep the city pointed in the right direction!!!!

The actual letter will go on the UAMCC website. For some reason the doc. was too large for the BBS. Oh well....I am a computer "dummy"...lol.
