Condominium Roof Cleaning

We started on this 15 building condo roof cleaning this morning. I partnered up with Greg (SplashanDash) on this one. He sprayed today and we got 4 of the two story units done and 4 of the one story, also. Hopefully the weather will hold out and we can get the remaining 7 buildings completed tomorrow.

We're starting on a 3 story tile roof cleaning project for a local apartment complex next Monday.....Busy, busy, busy!!!

Pic 4 is a classic. Ground person keeping the plants and vegetation wet with water while the chems are hitting the roof above. All Seasons Exteriors and Splash N Dash...a deadly combo.

Thumbs up guys! :Smiley-2010:

Whatever it takes......just depends on what it drains to and how dry it is. At $3/1,000 gallons around here, it's probably costing the homeowners a $1.50 or less for the entire process.

So on a windy day...or if there is a slight breeze a blowing...how do you keep the tarps from lifting off the hedges/bushes? Do you anchor the tarps with anything Don?

Hi Carlos,

If the wind is anywhere over about 15 mph, we usually try to reschedule the job. If it's just a little breezy, we'll use bungy straps, clips and even small rocks to hold the tarps down. Once they have weight on top of them (rocks), we pool water into the low spots for additional weight.
