Can a company dispute the final results of a public bid?
We won a bid for fleet washing in the Florida area and we received an email and phone call from the procurement dept that another company (who we beat out by $6,500.00) was disputing the final decision stating that we are unable to comply with 3 of the requirements listed in the bid.
I don't know where they get their information from and don't know how they can dispute this. We didn't know you could dispute a contract award.
I know the procurement dept or company decision makers can dispute the bid if it seems way too low, but didn't know other companies could.
Anyway, can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thank you.
