Just received a delivery of SH. Ordered 12.5% and received 10%. Don't want to return it so I was hoping some of the chemists out here can help me recalculate using 10%.

Currently using for 12.

35 GALLON MIX:

21 GALLONS WATER to 14 GALLONS SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE

Thanks:headshakesmile-fast

I dont know what other areas of the country get, but we get 10.5% and its made locally so we get it fresh. The 2% could be lost in transport. Just dont want to be riding behind that truck!

Rated percentages mean little, the real test is does it clean ? There are several places to buy from here in Tampa, some advertising 15 percent! We buy from a place that advertises 12 percent. It will clean circles around the so called 15 percent.
SH and bread both need to be fresh, it is simple as that. If it cleans good, it is good, and if it don't, take it back, and buy elsewhere.
