What org to join

I hope you all can help with this question. I know there are tons of orgs to join, but since I am new to this there is potential I can be chasing a rabbit that only wishes to eat the green from my pockets.

Since I am in this to not make mistakes and most of you have made the mistake of joining a dead org, please point me in the right direction so I am not just donating money that will not give me a edge in aquiring the tools I need that can be applied to growing my business.

Thanks,

Jimmy

Hi ya'll,

Yes, Ken answered my questions about what to join. I told him I actually felt stupid after I hit send because it dawned on me that this is just not another contractor board. It is actually an org also. I have no idea that all those yeard of breathing laquer thinner would come to this

I actually have only been in the painting side of things. My family has been painting contractors for 100 years. I am a fourth generation contractor myself. I have painted the shotgun homes all the way up to 16,000 sf mansions. The funny thing that always blew the other paint contractors minds as well as the visiting real estate agents was that we painted our small homes with the same care we did the mansions. Thats what got my Grandpa over when he was alive.
