Local Stormwater meeting

Tony Shelton

Environmental Consultant / Past Director
Went to the local Stormwater meeting today and found out some good news. Our Valley is done with their annual report and the only substance of issue was TDS (Total Dissolved Solids).

That is great news for powerwashers because we are a first line of defense for TDS.

We preclean and screen for debris reducing TDS.

The nightmare of what the other org did by coming here from NY, Texas, MD and California and questioning our BMPs is hopefully going to end soon. I will be meeting with the author of the new Bmps next month for input. A whole lot of hassle to fix Bmps that weren't broken in the first place.

But we can't blame our local authorities. When they have a national org sending guys from all over emailing them and telling them that our BMPs are "illegal" and they would "fix" them for a fee, the authorities have no choice but to look into it from a liability standpoint.

This is one of the reasons the UAMCC needs your support....so we can stop this assault against our industry that has gone on for over 20 years.

We are CLEANERS no POLLUTERS!!!!
