My Experience with Osciee Designs
Im not one to generally complain or post online reviews about a service. I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt and don’t look to intentionally hurt anybody . Its bad Karma. However, I feel I owe it to my fellow PW contractors to inform them about my experience with Dwayne Deziel & Osciee Designs.

As with all business owners here, client customer service is paramount to being successful. PW Vendors ive dealt with in the past – Paul & Bill @ Powerwash store , Bob at PressureTek and Brian at BCE Cleaning (just to name a few) exemplify the kind of vendors I want to deal with. I also have several local vendors in my area ive dealt with for years who are fantastic. We exchange referrals constantly.

Just some background- I was the very first PW to conduct business with Osciee Designs about a year ago. I had him build me a site and he was extremely accessible and accommodating. I was very happy with the outcome and highly recommended him to other guys in the industry. I provided testimonials of his work on his own website. He was my guy!

Around March of this year I asked him to build me another site-Dunrite Property Services. We had a conversation about me owning the site and he went ahead and got the domain and host. It was my understanding we would square up later regarding giving me access to the site. I trusted this guy. The site was completed around mid April and I paid him whatever was owed and followed up with having him design some door hangars. He sent me a proof which I approved and asked him to finalize a price. This is when I noticed his responses getting longer and slower.

April 18[SUP]th[/SUP] was my last phone conversation with Dwayne. We discussed updates to the site and the Hangar proof approval. I attempted to reach him unsuccessfully the week of April 27[SUP]th[/SUP]. On May 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] I texted him that he was probably busy and to send me the info to the site so I can update it. His response was he had a family emergency and would call me the next day. THAT WAS MY LAST CONTACT.
I gave Dwayne the benefit of the doubt until I found out he was working with other contractors on their stuff. Hmmm. I attempted to contact Dwayne several times over the next few weeks via text, email and VM and didn’t get one response. NADA. My emails and texts were concerning for his well being and always cordial. (I have them all)

I felt like I was being held hostage. I was locked out of my site which actually was totally down for about a 48hr period. Left out in the cold. There were changes and updates I needed to make to my site and I couldn’t make them. He simply refused to respond to me. My contact attempts were non threatening and cordial. His non responses were inconsiderate and disrespectful.

Frustrated, I was on the cusp of initiating legal action when I reached out to a fellow contractor for help who I knew had very recently had a site done by him. After speaking with him he called Dwayne and immediately reached him. WOW. Dwayne told him he would get back to me later that day. Imagine that. Right after that I got an email with the user name and pass word. Just like that. Took him what 2 minutes? Amazing.

This guy knew I was requesting access to my site and simply ignored me. He negatively impacted my business purposely .In my opinion I can only surmise he got paid for my website stuff, didn’t need me anymore and the door hangar wasn’t worth his time.
BTW-I had him create invoices which I paid for and he never delivered.

My Lesson is I should’ve entered into a written agreement and obtained the domain myself. Shame on me. I hope anyone who is working with this guy reads this and is aware. His customer service is no where near some of the other vendors on these boards who are ALWAYS willing to help.

Dwayne- I know you’ve read this because I texted you the link for you to read. I needed to let the PW community know what kind of customer service you provide. If you respond to this it would be the first in along time.

Mike and for everybody else who reads this. Im not going to turn this into a huge deal but wanted to briefly explain my side. First I apologize Mike that you feel this way. You know up until about a month ago when you called or emailed I responded immediately, probably better than anybody and faster. I had a family emergency out of state, I'm not going into details about but just know it was and still is too fresh for me. For a few days I was out of the picture and when i realized I was going to be out for a little bit longer than I hoped my wife did as much damage control via email and she hired somebody to take over until I could get back and get into things. Honestly did some things slip through the cracks at that time, yes. But I have seen that the guy we hired has emailed you back and forth and gave you the information you needed. Again I should have called and I didnt and that was my fault but I saw things being taken care of and just thought that it was fine. You wrote to him yesterday and your exact words were that getting help "was a breathe of fresh air".

I tried my best to juggle what I had going on and I apologize I couldn't respond as fast as I typically did. It wasn't intentional, I was going through a rough period and I quickly made accommodations to make sure my business was taken care of. I dont blame you for being mad but telling everybody in a community that I have recently gone out of my way to help anyway I can I dont think is fair. Life happens and I feel I handled the situation the best I could with what was going on.

Doug Rucker

UAMCC Board of Directors
I hired Dwayne a few months ago to do some work on a couple of my web sites, theme changes, SEO, and some other things. During that time I was absolutely blown away by the quick response time of any communication we had.

One of the problems I have had over the years is every time I would hire someone to manage my sites, things would start off great, then slowly the response time would go from same day, to 2 days, then 3 or 4 days, then a week, and after a couple months they would simply, overnight, disappear and would not respond to phone calls, texts, emails, etc. It was extremely frustrating, especially knowing they held the key to the front door of my business. Fortunately for me the last one that did this resurfaced, and I was able to get everything I needed, and found the right person to manage my sites for me from an administrative end. (this person is different than dwayne)

From day one even up until today, (with the exception of a three day period that he had a Family Emergency) there has NEVER been a time when I have not been able to reach Dwayne. His reponses to my emails have always been the same day or next day at the very latest. In fact I just hung up the phone with him, discussing some things we are looking at doing with my school site, which is the last one I have to turn him loose on.

In our phone conversation, we discussed some things that are going on in his life and I am satisfied with his explanation. I also explained to Dwayne, that the Pressure Washing Community is a tight group. We all look out for each other. Often times when something affects one of us, it affects us all. When the need arises we are a "Wand of Brothers"..lol
and will help our brothers out in any time of need. In fact, this morning I checked with a few of the people that I have referred Dwayne to, and all checked back saying they have not had a problem.

I would also like to say that I had the honor of meeting Mike Rego in Milwaukee after following him for awhile here and on the various forums. I have always respected Mike and still do, and will always value (highly) his opinion. I do not doubt for a minute anything that Mike has posted here and am in no way trying to contradict anything he has to say about Dwayne. What happened to Mike did happen. I know because I am the UAMCC Board member that helped Mike get back in touch with Dwayne.

After praying about this over the weekend, and considering terminating my relationship with Dwayne, and after speaking with Dwayne, I have come to the conclusion that I will continue. But as I told Dwayne, I am proceeding cautiously. I would advise anyone to do the same with anyone you hire to "manage' any part of your business.
