• As of January 1, 2018 The brand new logo that was created and released in 2017 will be the only official logo in affect and allowed to be used on any electronic media however, any such media like truck wraps, stationary, and postcards will be grandfathered in. Contributing Members will be allowed to use the UAMCC logo in any advertising. Permission to use the logo otherwise must be in writing. Logos used in electronic formats (ie: Websites, forums, etc.) must be linked back to the member’s profile in the UAMCC directory. Helium vs. Healthcare: The ethics of party balloons

We often focus on the litter aspect of balloons, but what about what’s inside them? Helium is a rare, non-renewable gas that is absolutely essential for cooling MRI machines in hospitals and running high-tech scientific labs. Yet, we pump millions of liters of it into party decorations that deflate in a couple of days. Is it ethical to keep wasting a critical medical resource on temporary entertainment?

That’s a really valid point about helium, but the cool thing is you don't even need it to make a party look awesome. Air-filled balloon arches and wall displays look just as good and don't waste medical resources. When I was prepping for my brother’s graduation, we just used regular air pumps for all the themed decorations we got from https://balloons.online/seasonal-balloons/graduation-balloons/ and taped them to the backdrop. Honestly, they lasted way longer than helium anyway! It’s totally possible to celebrate big milestones responsibly without tapping into critical scientific resources.
